Where did the moving the goalposts thread go? I think the original poster was hoping to get support from Clinton fans about the idea that losing 4 states closely would be a victory for her. Once the comments came in, poof.

I had a pretty good post about goalposts turning into unicorns.
It's a good one liner. But if it helps people to read overconfidence, smugness, or a deliciously gooey hubris and nougat center, then by all means do so.
But the idea of the goal posts being moved is completely accurate. When this four state contest came into focus, right after Wisconsin, it was "her firewall," which would stop his momentum, net her some delegates, and allow her to move on to Pennsylvania. She was gonna clobber him in Texas and Ohio.
Then she was going to "win" them.
Then she "looks good" in Ohio, but Texas is tight.
And, now, Obama has to sweep all four states to maintain momentum, and anything less is a Clinton victory.
I hope Adam Vinatieri is on Team Obama! It's tough to kick it through when the posts move this much!
